Scottish Distillery Tour

No visit to Scotland would be complete without a dram, or two! This tour takes you to two of Scotlands most prized distillery's, as well as a bite to eat in the countrys oldest pub.

Tour Overview

Scotland is world famous for its whisky and many distilleries. No visit to Scotland would be complete without a visit to at least one distillery. This one day tour gives you an opportunity to sample two distillery tours and the chance to sample traditional Scottish hospitality as we have lunch in one of Scotland’s oldest and most famous pubs. Other whisky tours are available to visit Scotland’s many distilleries on request.

Itinerary

We leave Glasgow in the morning and travel west towards the Erskine bridge. Shortly after we cross the Erskine bridge enjoying the wonderful views we will arrive at the Auchentoshan distillery. Here you can take a tour of the splendid distillery and sample the fine single malt.

From the Auchentoshan distillery we head north, enjoying the fantastic scenery as we head towards the picturesque village of Drymen. Here we visit one of Scotland’s oldest pubs Clachan Inn for lunch and refreshments from their excellent Scottish menu.

After our lunch break we head towards our second distillery of the day. Some would say Scotland’s most beautiful the Glengoyne distillery. Here you can take a tour, have fun sampling the famous malt and visit the excellent gift shop.

From Glengoyne we head south back towards Glasgow to conclude the tour.
